Over 500 firefighters were mobilized at the peak of the operation with the support of 2 Dash and 4 Canadairs.
200 firefighters remained on duty throughout the night to monitor the fire, which experienced nocturnal reactivations with many hotspots.
At 8:00 on Sunday, July 6, the fire was contained but not yet under control. Nearly 200 firefighters are currently deployed on the ground. In support, two water-bombing helicopters are scheduled to be on-site this morning. The meteorological conditions remain unfavorable, with wind gusts expected to exceed 60km/h until 12:00.

À 8 heures ce dimanche 6 juillet, le feu était contenu mais pas encore maîtrisé. Près de 200 pompiers sont actuellement déployés sur le terrain. Deux hélicoptères bombardiers d’eau sont prévus pour intervenir ce matin. Les conditions météorologiques restent défavorables, avec des rafales de vent attendues à plus de 60 km/h jusqu’à midi.
Seule la route départementale 212 reste fermée à la circulation pour le moment, aucune réouverture n’étant prévue dans l’immédiat.
Le préfet rappelle l’importance de rester vigilant et de ne pas entraver les opérations de secours. Les conditions météorologiques restent défavorables en raison des rafales de vent attendues à plus de 60 km/h jusqu’à midi.
