According to the magistrate, the young mother, heavily intoxicated that night, was kidnapped and raped, and her death could not have been accidental. When the gendarmes discovered the body, a blue rope was tightly wrapped around the victim’s neck.

For the lawyer representing Justine Veyrac’s relatives, the sentence requested against Lucas Larrivée is beyond dispute. «He does not answer the questions asked of him. According to psychiatrists, he remains extremely dangerous and potentially a threat to society,» shared Me Olivier Guillot, lawyer for the civil parties.
