During the Easter weekend, RER traffic will be particularly disrupted due to a new phase of works on the Cathedrals Bridge in Saint-Denis and the renovation of the Souverains railway viaduct in the 17th arrondissement.
Over the course of three days, significant works are planned to replace the Cathedrals railway bridge. After the launching and placement of the structure on its supports and concrete pouring in February, the next step is to install the new track and catenary according to SNCF réseau.
From April 19th to 21st, these works will cause significant disruptions on the RER B line. The interconnection between the southern and northern branches of the B line will be suspended at Gare du Nord.

Additionally, significant disruptions are expected on the RER C line throughout the weekend. This Saturday and Sunday, the northern branch of the RER C will be closed between Champ de Mars station and Pontoise.
The interruption this weekend on the RER C line is due to preparatory work for the renovation of the Souverains railway viaduct located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. This viaduct is used by the RER C line, and the work is necessary to ensure the safety and efficiency of the railway infrastructure.
During this time, the northern branch of the RER C line will be closed between Champ de Mars station and Pontoise. This closure is essential for the renovation work that will be carried out on the viaduct. The closure will impact RER C passengers traveling in this area, and alternative transportation arrangements will be made to minimize disruption.
The renovation work on the Souverains viaduct is part of a larger effort to improve the railway infrastructure in Paris. The work is necessary to ensure the viaduct remains structurally sound and safe for train travel. The Souverains viaduct is an important part of the RER C line, and its renovation is crucial to maintaining the overall reliability of the railway network.
We apologize for any inconvenience this interruption may cause to RER C passengers. The safety and efficiency of the railway infrastructure are our top priorities, and we appreciate your understanding and patience during this renovation work. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to improve the railway network for the benefit of all passengers. Please rewrite this sentence.
