Homme hospitalisé en urgence après l’utilisation d’un insecticide interdit dans son logement

A man was urgently transported to a hospital in Paris on Wednesday, August 20. An insecticide banned since 2013 had been used in his apartment and in the common areas of his accommodation.

Rescue services evacuated this resident of Gargenville (Yvelines) in critical condition to Lariboisière Hospital in Paris on Wednesday, August 20. According to the department’s prefecture, he had ingested Sniper, a toxic insecticide.

The man was found on Jean Jaurès Avenue around 2 p.m. after suffering a malaise. Firefighters, the SAMU (emergency medical service), and agents with specialized protective equipment had to intervene.

During the intervention, the residents of the building in question were confined.
