The traffic forecasts for the SNCF network published by the company and those for the metro and bus provided by Ile-de France Mobilités confirm that public transportation will be very difficult this Thursday, a day of strikes in various sectors.
SNCF has just published its traffic forecasts for the RER and Transilien. Travel will be complicated this Thursday for residents of Ile-de-France.
In a statement, SNCF «recommends that passengers on the affected lines who can, limit their planned trips on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and prioritize telecommuting«.
Traffic forecasts for trains and RER:
Expect 3 out of 4 trains between Nanterre Préfecture and Cergy-le-Haut and between Nanterre Préfecture and Poissy; On the rest of the line, expect 3 out of 4 trains during peak hours and 2 out of 3 trains during off-peak hours.
- RER B and E, Lines H, N, U
Expect 1 out of 2 trains
(RER B: 1 out of 2 trains on the entire line with no train change required at Paris Nord station.)
Expect normal traffic between Paris Est and Coulommiers and between Paris Est and Château Thierry; Expect 3 out of 4 trains between Paris Est and Meaux and between Paris Est and Provins; Expect 2 out of 3 trains between Meaux and La Ferté Milon.
- RER C, Lines K, L, and V
Expect 2 out of 3 trains
Expect 1 out of 2 trains between Corbeil-Essonnes and Creil and between Melun and Goussainville; Expect 1 out of 5 trains only during peak hours between Corbeil-Essonnes and Malesherbes; No service between Juvisy and Corbeil-Essonnes via Ris Orangis and between Corbeil-Essonnes and Melun.

Face à ces perturbations, Île-de-France Mobilités propose le covoiturage à tous les Franciliens, sans conditions de ressources, pour un maximum de 2 trajets par jour, pour des trajets de moins de 30 km, via le site ou l’application Île-de-France Mobilités.
Les prévisions de trafic pour le réseau SNCF et les transports en commun en Île-de-France confirment que les déplacements seront très difficiles ce jeudi en raison d’un jour de grève dans différents secteurs. La SNCF recommande aux voyageurs concernés de limiter leurs déplacements et de privilégier le télétravail si possible.
