Un enfant de trois ans meurt dans l’incendie d’une maison à Villeneuve-la-Garenne

A tragic incident occurred in the Hauts-de-Seine commune on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in a devastating fire. A three-year-old child lost their life, while their twin brother and mother sustained severe injuries.

The Paris firefighters swiftly responded to the two-story house on Pierre Brossolette Street in Villeneuve-la-Garenne, Hauts-de-Seine. Despite the efforts of 70 firefighters, the fire was extinguished promptly.

During the rescue operation, a mother and her three-year-old twin sons were found unconscious in cardiac arrest, as reported by a police source. Despite the rescue efforts, one of the children could not be revived. The brother and mother were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, according to the same source.

Shortly after the incident, relatives of the family gathered in a nearby street near the Seine, in front of the now-charred house, visibly distraught and emotional.

The exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this point, as stated by the police source.
