L’église de la Sainte-Famille «a été accidentellement touchée en raison d’une déviation involontaire de munitions», déclare l’armée israélienne sur Telegram dans les conclusions de son enquête. L’armée affirme «viser uniquement des cibles militaires», avoir «facilité l’entrée d’aide humanitaire» pour l’église et «coordonné l’entrée d’une délégation» religieuse pour visiter l’édifice.

Israel claims to have accidentally struck the only Catholic church in Gaza. The Church of the Holy Family «was accidentally hit due to an unintentional deviation of munitions,» declared the Israeli army on Telegram in the findings of its investigation. The army asserts that it «only targets military objectives,» has «facilitated the entry of humanitarian aid» for the church, and has «coordinated the entry of a religious delegation» to visit the building.
