The Argentinians spent the whole day honoring Pope Francis, the country’s own son. With a ladle in hand, Catalina from the youth group of the Lujan parish fills plastic containers and distributes them, «We prepared pasta with vegetables, a vegetarian menu. People are thrilled!» On the Plaza de Mayo, in front of the cathedral, all social organizations brought out boxes full of pizzas or sandwiches at noon, as well as giant pots or mobile barbecues to grill sausages.
