Originally from Annecy, the victim had accompanied her boyfriend to Oullins-Pierre-Bénite before «being violently attacked by the boy and three other young girls», who are also minors.

According to our information, the girl had endured «a real outburst of violence» in the basement of a building in the town, rue Jules Guesde. There were reports of stabbing in the thigh, cuts on the back, and burns. «The Rhône DIPN was required to intervene in Oullnins following the care by emergency services of a 15-year-old girl who had a wound on her thigh and lacerations on her back,» stated the Lyon prosecutor’s office in a statement on Wednesday, January 28. The scene was even filmed while her phone was extorted from her.

Having managed to escape, the girl was found in the early morning by passersby. The police quickly identified the perpetrators.

Five people, including four minors and one adult suspected of driving the victim and some of the minors to the place of detention, were arrested and placed in custody, and videos were seized.

At the end of the custody measures, the five suspects are presented this Wednesday, January 28, to the investigating magistrate as part of a judicial investigation opened by the Lyon prosecutor’s office for charges of arrest, kidnapping, abduction, arbitrary detention with acts of torture or barbarism, armed extortion, and handling of property from a crime or offense.

Pre-trial detention has been requested by the Lyon prosecutor’s office against the four minors suspected of detaining and assaulting the victim, who are apparently unknown to the police. The prosecution also requested the placement under judicial supervision of the adult suspected of driving the victim and some of the minors to the scene of the incident. The young victim, on the other hand, is being treated at the hospital.
