Selon Laurent Gumbau, procureur de la République de la ville de Tarascon, les incendies se sont produits vers 5h20 du matin sur un «parking isolé réservé aux personnels, grillagé et dont l’accès est sécurisé par un digicode, il a donc fallu escalader«.
«Aucune inscription n’a été relevée sur les lieux«, a précisé le parquet de Tarascon. En revanche, des vêtements ont été retrouvés près du grillage à l’intérieur du parking, selon une source policière.

Parmi les trois voitures incendiées, l’une appartient à un agent en service cette nuit, une autre à une personne intervenant techniquement au centre pénitentiaire. The owner of the third car, particularly damaged, has not been identified at this stage.
