According to the CentCom, the Iranian facilities targeted by US forces included «missile and drone launch sites, command and control centers, as well as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance bases.»
Simultaneously, the Iranian military command accused Washington of violating the ceasefire by attacking ships near the Strait of Hormuz, as per a statement broadcast by the state television.
The US military, «violating the ceasefire, targeted an Iranian oil tanker leaving Iranian shores (…), as well as another ship,» stated the Khatam Al-Anbiya armed forces command, cited by the Irib television channel.
The Iranian forces claim to have «immediately responded by attacking US military ships, (…) causing significant damage to them.»
